On September 4, 2018, the TTC is piloting a new bus route to provide service on The West Mall south of Dundas Street to The Queensway. The service will operate between Kipling Station and Sherway Gardens bus terminal.

The 123F Sherway service will operate approximately every 16 to 19 minutes, and will operate Monday to Friday, during the peak periods. The service provides a direct and accessible connection to the Sherway Gardens bus terminal and to Kipling Station, which will allow customers to access Line 2 Bloor-Danforth and 12 other TTC bus routes.

In total, four new accessible bus stops will be required for this new service; these stops will be installed with accessibility features such as new pads and sidewalk connections.

This one-year pilot service offers an affordable alternative to driving and will also work towards achieving the recommendations of the City of Toronto’s Poverty Reduction Strategy, by improving transit services to jobs and services within the inner suburb of southwest Etobicoke.

The current 123 Shorncliffe bus route will be renamed as the 123 Sherway and will continue to service the 123B (Kipling Station-Long Branch via East Mall), the 123C (Kipling Station-Long Branch via North Queen) and the 123D (Kipling Station-Sherway via East Mall) branches.
